From the blog

I haven;t been as diligent as I should be with my blog on my site. I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you that check in. We have recently lost one of our dogs as of last Friday….She had been on several meds to make her more comfortable, but alas, old age will catch up to you eventually. 15 is up there in dog-years. Twyla Fae is now back among her own kind…the Fairey Dog that she was in life. I’m certain her wings are spread and she’s flying with delight in the sunshine…endless bacon, Squirrels to chase and unlimited belly rubs…!
My wife and I shall miss her terribly. I believe she called her and her sister “Our hearts outside our bodies”. She was right on with that one.
Twyla Fae’s sister Hex is still doing ok…she is on a few meds as well, but is hanging in there. This is the first time in their lives that she has not been with her sister. We are all grieving, but we know that she is free once more to fly….

Have your say
